|Description:||Seeking a self-motivated individual to perform complex administrative and professional level work supporting the Human Resources, Safety and Transportation Departments. |
|Duties:||•Coordinates internal, external and online training classes for employees and supervisors, scheduling dates, sending notifications, contacting the trainer and assisting with trainer travel arrangements if needed, coordinating meals for training classes, ensuring room(s) are scheduled and set up, preparing sign-in sheets and materials, ensuring supplies and materials are ordered and distributed, and processing related invoices. |
•Handles all travel arrangements and training registrations for employees.
•Coordinates meetings including agenda preparation, meeting notifications, preparation of materials and trainer schedules, etc.
•Maintains policies, reviewing and updating as needed, making recommendations for changes, and conducting training sessions on related topics as needed. •Maintains related training records, reviews and codes invoices and expense statements.
•Maintains the Apprenticeship Program data base and assists with audits and inquiries by the Department of Labor. Ensures appropriate paperwork is handled for completion of each apprentice level.
•Prepares reports, forms, etc. for OSHA reporting and maintains files.
•Reviews, performs data entry of, and maintains misc paperwork relating to employee or HR related transactions.
•Assists with monthly inventory audits in Transportation and review of fuel reports, etc.
•Assists with preparation of notifications and summaries of incidents, as well as, maintaining other misc. safety related documents (job inspections, daily reports, vehicle inspections, etc.), compiling incident rate information and trending analysis.
•Composes, types and edits a variety of correspondence, reports and other documents requiring independent judgment as to the content, accuracy and completeness.
|Qualifications:||High School diploma or equivalent required. |
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications or a similar field preferred.
Two (2) years of related experience.
Texas Class C drivers license with good driving record.
Equivalent combinations of education, experience and training may be considered.
