| Description: | Responsible for specialized work in graphic design, electronic media, etc. to promote Mid-South Synergy's events, programs and public image campaigns. |
| Duties: | Creates and coordinates graphic design work for the Cooperative including brochures, publications, promotional material, advertisements, and website content for any marketing and communications needs, including the monthly magazine insert.
Coordinates all aspects of, external and internal, printed and electronic publications to include, but not limited to content development, designing, editing, printing, distribution, and on-line integration.
Researches and develops appropriate illustrations or graphics for use in marketing, web and related materials.
Develops and recommends new methods where web and multimedia projects can promote the Cooperative.

| Qualifications: | Bachelor's Degree in graphic design, computer science, journalism or similar field of study.
One (1) year of experience designing multimedia publications and/or presentations.
An equivalent combination of education, experience and training may be considered.
Valid Texas Class C drivers license with a good driving record as measured by Mid-South Synergy's criteria.
Knowledge of applicable computer design software packages, desktop publishing, and photography principles and practices.
Knowledge of the principles, practices, and equipment used for multi-media, print journalism, etc.
Strong graphics and technical skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to design and lay out a variety of communication materials.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products and the use of computers and computer software applications.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with internal and external customers.
